Adam Arnold has a Ph.D. from the University of Warwick, Coventry, UK in Philosophy. He has taught at the University of Washington, Tacoma and Pacific Lutheran University. After receiving his Ph.D. in 2015 he has been attempting to overcome the trained incapacities of specialization and professionalization.
Carmiña Palerm has a Ph.D. from Stanford University in Hispanic Studies. She was a Teaching Fellow at Stanford’s Introduction to the Humanities Program from 2001-2005, and has been a faculty member in the Hispanic and Latino Studies Program at Pacific Lutheran University since 2005. At PLU, she served as the International Honors Program Director for 8 years, and taught in the program.
Arthur Strum has a Ph.D. from Cornell University in German Philosophy and Literature. He was Assistant Professor of German Studies at Stanford University from 1995-2006, where he also was a course leader in Stanford’s Introduction to the Humanities Program. He has taught as an adjunct faculty member in the International Honors Program at Pacific Lutheran University since 2008. At PLU, he helped develop the current pedagogy and curriculum of the first year International Honors Program, and was director of the IHON-Oxford Study Away Program from 2016 until 2023.
